Just some of the companies we have partnered with to help them meet the legal requirements, improve the working environment and achieve better results. Below are a few brief case studies detailing how the services we offer are tailored to meet a wide range of situations:

Case Study A:

National head office of a multinational consumer goods organization. This company has an online system in place which helps to identify DSE related risk as well as provide basic/general advice on DSE usage. The current systems however do not have the ability to address and reduce the risks identified.

Our role in this situation involved intervention in a range of ways. Firstly we provide a screening programme aimed at identifying higher risk individuals (alongside the existing system which focuses more on the workstation layout). Once these higher risk combined situations have been identified, we provide training for the individuals as well as intervening directly in the workstation, making the necessary changes to reduce risk and increase efficiency.

In addition to this, we have a member of staff onsite helping to action recommendations, intervene in less complicated cases and troubleshoot day to day issues.

Case Study B:

Multisite organization with good existing Health & Safety systems in place. In this situation we provide detailed and specific workstation/ergonomic assessment and intervention in cases involving more complicated musculo-skeletal problems and where general advice and intervention has not helped.

Case Study C:

A SME with 13 employees that has not had any form of DSE risk assessment or training programme in place. Having grown steadily in the last few years, this company has reached the point where this issues needed to be addressed both from a HSE requirement and an employee musculo-skeletal point of view. We provided seminar training for all employees as well as risk assessed all the relevant workstations, making whatever changes/improvements were possible at the time as well as making recommendations on further changes. Once these changes were made we conducted a follow-up visit making final adjustments as required.

Case Study D:

Home workers. We have provided DSE risk assessment and training to a number of home based/remote workers ensuring a safe and efficient working environment in various situations.
